Salvation in the world
So many of us are searching for salvation and maybe we don’t refer to it as salvation but as something else — maybe we refer to it as an improved life or a good life or happiness or fulfilment or peace of mind or healing, or we give it another descriptive. I call it salvation because we are, essentially, wanting for what will help us and elevate us. Here’s something that I think is important about salvation: Most of us know what our salvation looks like, we know just what it is that we need for our salvation — it might be money or it might be improved health or it might be a relationship or it might be something else, or it might be a combination of things; but usually we do know what we need, we may not know how to attain it but we know what it is. The form of salvation varies between people but the salvation is almost always some external thing, some external form, some worldly form. Isn’t this so?
